Crypto Casino Restricted Country Lists Compared: From One Entry to 224

How long is a crypto casino’s restricted list, actually?

Anywhere between one country and 224. Thirty-eight of the hundred brands behind this site’s comparison table publish a restricted-country list that can be read in their own terms, and laying the thirty-eight side by side produces a spread wide enough to make the phrase «restricted countries» nearly meaningless as a column heading.

5 to 19 entries 12 Nitrobetting 6, LeeBet 8, Windice 9, JacksClub 10, Rainbet 11, Sportsbet.io 17
20 to 59 entries 9 Playbet.io 30, Rocketpot 34, CoinCasino 36, Bets.io 42, Wolf.bet 48, Metaspins 58
60 to 99 entries 4 BitStarz 74, CryptoLeo 74, Nine Casino 74, Winz.io 92
200 or more entries 7 7Bit Casino 216, Bitdreams 216, Slotum 216, PlayAmo 217, Bitkingz 218, Mirax 220, Oshi Casino 224

Nineteen of the thirty-eight name thirty countries or fewer. Seven name more than two hundred. There is no middle that most brands cluster around, which is the first sign that list length is not a measure of how careful an operator is.

What do the seven longest lists have in common?

Each other. Compared entry by entry, the seven lists of two hundred or more overlap by between ninety and ninety-eight per cent. Mirax and Oshi Casino share 220 countries. 7Bit Casino and Mirax share 214. Bitdreams and Slotum share 213.

The registers explain it. Oshi Casino, PlayAmo, Slotum and Bitkingz all publish the same Anjouan registration, ALSI-202508056-FI2, which also covers Winz.io. 7Bit Casino and Mirax both publish the Curacao entry OGL/2024/1307/0748. Bitdreams publishes 8048/JAZ2019-015 under the earlier Antillephone scheme.

The same pattern repeats one band down. CryptoLeo and Nine Casino both publish 74-entry lists that share 73 countries, a ninety-seven per cent overlap, and both publish the Curacao entry OGL/2024/1267/0760. BitStarz’s list is also exactly 74 entries long and shares only 48 of them, because BitStarz belongs to a different company.

Two lists of the same length are not two operators reaching the same conclusion. They are usually one operator filling in the same form twice.

What does a 224-entry list actually leave?

About twenty-five jurisdictions. ISO 3166-1 assigns 249 country codes, so Oshi Casino’s list of 224 describes a business that declines nearly everything and serves what remains.

The contents make the point better than the arithmetic. Those long lists reach South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Pitcairn, Saint Helena, the British Indian Ocean Territory and Bouvet Island, none of which has a gambling market to decline. They are bulk imports of country codes, and the United Kingdom arrives inside one alongside the uninhabited Antarctic dependencies.

A ban assembled that way is still a ban. It is simply not a decision about Britain. The same terms that name Britain are also the terms that decide when documents are requested, and only five of them put a figure on it — see the comparison of verification thresholds.

Are the shortest lists the friendliest?

No, and this is where a comparison table does the most damage. Six of the thirty-eight lists contain four entries or fewer: Bitcasino.io names Japan, Bitsler names American Samoa, Coins.Game names the Netherlands, Stake names the United States, Cloudbet names Australia and Belgium, and Primedice names Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria.

A four-entry restricted list is not a restrictive policy expressed briefly. It is the visible fragment of a longer policy that the reading did not reach, usually because the full list sits behind a help-centre path, a regional version of the terms, or a page that would not open. Recording those six as «no UK ban» would convert a failure to read into a finding about the operator.

Where this site’s table says a brand does not name the United Kingdom, it is describing a document, not issuing a clearance.

Does length predict whether Britain is on the list?

Strongly, and in the direction you would expect. Of the twenty lists with thirty entries or more, eighteen name the United Kingdom. Of the eighteen shorter lists, eleven do. Across all thirty-eight, twenty-nine name it.

The two long lists that do not name Britain are worth naming for that reason: Bets.io at forty-two entries and CoinCasino at thirty-six. Both are long enough to be genuine policies rather than fragments, and neither includes the United Kingdom in the copy read on 26 August 2026.

That is a fact about two documents on one date, and both should be re-read before anyone relies on them, because none of these documents carries a version number or a changelog.

How should any of this change the way you read a comparison table?

By treating the restricted-country column as three states rather than two. A brand can name the United Kingdom, which is settled. It can publish a list that omits the United Kingdom, which is a document that may or may not be complete. Or it can publish nothing readable at all, which is the position of sixty-two of the hundred brands and tells you nothing about anything.

Two further checks close most of the remaining gap: whether the brand publishes any of the basic facts about itself, which is set out on what these casinos actually publish, and whether the brand’s own pages can still be opened at all, which is on which crypto casinos are still online.

The brand-by-brand table, with the clause each position comes from, is on the crypto casinos UK comparison, and the shortlist with the reasoning behind each entry is on our best crypto casinos UK page.

Every count here was measured on the operators’ own restricted lists as they stood on 26 August 2026.
